We are looking for a Financial Analyst for an international, growing company near Waregem.
your tasks
You prepare and follow up on (outgoing) invoices and payments; You ensure all customers remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines You are the main contact person for the shared service center in the other accounting domains You actively participate in the monthly closing process and are involved in the monthly reporting process and quarterly audit cycle You take an active role in an upcoming project to optimize the ERP system and roll out a new reporting and dashboarding structure. You analyze financial data taking into account the company’s goals and provide the business with timely and reliable information. You provide recommendations to improve financial performance You assist in administrative tasks as required for accounting and controlling projects You often interact and partner with other finance teams within the company. You keep track of relevant developments in own field, exchange knowledge with colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization
your profile
• You have a bachelor or Master degree in Finance • You have a first experience within finance • You have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. But can also communicate in French. • You have good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • If you have knowledge of SAP that’s a plus • You are methodical, attentive to detail and accurate • You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player, but you’re also able to work independently • You have a straight-forward and hands on mentality • You are a fast learner and eager to further develop skills • You are able to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively with internal clients and external stakeholders • You want to work in an international environment
