Perform / coordinate with ACE ad hoc variance analysis with the respective business functions to be able to explain major fluctuations in the actual results Coordinate the finance management of specific transactions (M&A, Real estate and Equity transactions, Restructuring, Government Subsidies, ..) and coordinate or perform the required administration. Coordinate all reporting and ad hoc analysis in support of Board of Directors, Site Meetings, … and discuss the content with the stakeholders involved Review extraordinary / non-recurring journal entries and validate reserve adjustments Review aged balances with the accounting teams and the business functions involved and validate reserves. Provide requirements to project teams to implement best-in-class Purchase-to-Pay processes based on expert knowledge of the local manufacturing and inventory systems. Provide expert guidance and review the correct application of local accounting standards, tax rules or legal regulations Assure application of the policies within the various business functions impacting the financial processes and propose actions or changes in case of deviations Support Accounting Center to analyze exceptional processes to ensure the proper accounting treatment from managerial, statutory, tax & legal perspective. Define and organize together with the ACE team check points in the accounting process to assure that the books provide a true picture of business performances Be the point of reference versus internal stakeholders and coordinate with ACE expert explanation and guidance related to accounting and reporting processes for the entities in scope to assure compliance and process excellence (accounting flows and policies, reporting systems, payroll related flows, vat, tax, legal requirements, ...) towards Colleagues / Other business functions / Internal and external auditors / Project implementation teams Support the transfer pricing calculation and adjustments in line with national tax regulations
